A summer beach wedding: On arrival all guests were adorned with a pair of flip-flops and a parasol! The signs "TO THE WEDDING" and "TO THE BEACH" were 'homemade' in driftwood. Nautilus shells appeared washed-up against bud vases of hydrangea, casablanca lilies and freesia, alongside votives of berzelia and candles and more heaps of shells ! The happy couple married under our huge olive arch and the bride carried a bouquet of white calla lilies and phalaenopsis orchids.
Matiatia Bay with its magnificent view, was the back drop to our small ornate arch, decorated with 'Something Special' Roses, blue gentions, white and lime green spray chrysanths. The tables flowers were created with clouds of mauve hydrangea 'Bianca' and 'Something Special' Roses to match the Brides Bouquet.
Red Rose Wedding Day at Mudbrick Vineyard saw red rose petals in abundance! The bride carried a 'Prestige' red rose trailing bouquet, two brides maids carried hand tied red rose posy bouquets and the flower girl carried a basket of phalaenopsis orchids and grass loops to match the groom and grooms mens button holes.
All the colours of the rainbow at Cable Bay Vineyard it was a real WOW! Everyone loved having 'almost' a garden of flowers on their own table! Individual vases of yellow calla lilies, red celosia, green or blue hydrangea squashed into moon vases that Jeff Latham would have been proud of... orange 'Lambarda' roses, blue gention, red or yellow gerbera, orange callas it was very full of colour; the the clean architectural lines of Cable Bay lent itself to the very modern table flowers. The bride carried blue hydrangea with orange roses and the bridesmaids carried white hydrangea and white lisianthus, while the flower girls carried small posies of orange roses.
Tuscany on Waiheke Island is all words beginning with S.... Sunny, Smiley,Sensational.....
Stargazer Lilies, Something Special and de la Creme Roses accompanied by Stephanotis flowers for their sublime perfume, created this sensational trailing bouquet. It was the brides wish, to have pearls strung onto the trailing beargrass and although I was a little reluctant, the pearls added some weight to the grass and the effect was to enhance and match the brides dress perfectly. The happy couple were married at Goldwater Estate under the huge Pohutakawa tree 'on top of the hill ' overlooking the vineyard.
Late summer at Passage Rock Vineyard, a very relaxed wedding in the vines, the bride chose a simple hand tied bouquet of white Bianca roses tied with her own lace that she had found on her travels. Jam jars were filled with freesia, white daisies and white spray roses to adorn the tables.
Full of color, loose and relaxed for this small gathering 'upstairs' at Mudbrick Vineyard. The brides bouquet, matched the table flowers that were arranged with yellow Gold Strike roses, red and yellow gerbera, mauve lisianthus, red celosia, tweedia, red geranium, and lots of bits and pieces like lambs ears from the garden.
